Originally developed and used as a commercial airliner by Lufthansa, the Ju52 made its maiden flight in 1932. That same year, Germany started the covert establishment of a military force. Throughout WWII, the Ju52 was a very key ingredient of Hitler's war strategy. It was tailor-made for Blitzkrieg War and a real workhorse throughout those years.
